Have been thinking of setting up a blog for a long time, but kept on postponing. Finally, the moment has arrived.

Why Naga Murali?

I am generally known as Murali. But there is a group of childhood friends who know me as ‘Naga Murali’. If somebody calls me by that name, I instantly recognize that they must be knowing me from a ’special time’.

When I joined for Maths and English tuition when I was 11, there were two other Muralis in the class. So the teacher decided to call me Naga Murali. And the name stuck with a circle of friends who studied along with me at that time. They passed on this name to a few other friends later.

The two years I spent with that teacher were very special to me. So calling me ‘Naga Murali’ reminds me of those days and brings back some special memories.

What can you expect to find here?

Some philosophical musings, book reviews, accounts of some interesting people I meet,  Sanskrit Slokas with meanings, Telugu articles and a variety of outpourings based on my mood.

Don’t be surprised to find sarcastic and cynical writings some times and gloomy and depressing writings some other times. You may also find a cheerful note occasionally!!
